accommodation:
single is called the Block
married is called Married Quarters or Pads.
food:
the main food hall is called the Cook house or Scoff house.
shop:
the shop is called the NAAFI(Navy Army Air Force institution).
the NAAFI also has a fast food area and bar.
the Regimental Shop.
facilities:there are many different areas
the hospital is called the Medical Centre
the Quartermasters are called the QM’s, these deal with everything from clothing, ammo, fuel knows as POL (Petrol Oil Lubricants), special equipment for the regiment, the motor section called MT where the master driver works. you have a regimental qm then you have a squadron qm.
the Squadron QM’s deal with the squadron personnel weapons, the squadron vehicles and squadron own special equipment.
the mechanics work in the Workshops.
the Training wing.
the Guardroom is at the front of the camp.
the Gym.
some camps have a cinema, nightclub and swimming pool.
as for american camps.
i have limited knowledge, but here we go.
the shop is called the px.
entertainment area, which has a karaoke stage, church, library.
